This song talks about a person’s life whose struggled through 3 different comforts which later betrayed them. The first verses talks about their relationship with their mother and how close they were, but their bond changes later as they grows up and their mother slowly gives up on taking care of them. The next verse talks about their past relationship with someone which started off loving and caring, but later turned to abuse which caused them to turn to prostitution and affected their life later. The last verse talks about how they needed help with their pain. They saw and heard about drugs like heroin in movies and at school. They ended up using it for their own comfort not knowing how badly it would end up. The whole song talks about recalling when their comforts were once loving or actually comforting, but now it’s completely different and all changed for the worst.

And do you ever wonder if you ever truly changed?
Cause honestly I’m lost and I don’t know to blame…
…But we don’t have the type of bond we used to have before
And I ain’t mad at all,
I just wonder if you recall when I laid in your arms and you used to sing to me like…”
