Joyner Lucas – I’m Sorry

This song was made in 2016. It talks about suicide through two perspectives, through the view of the person who commits suicide and the people who misses the individual. It shows the frustration and the miserable thought process the individual goes through, what they debate before they decide whether they want to take their life or not. And it shows the regret and frustration their loved ones go through, wondering what they could have done together to prevent this from happening. This was made for anyone going through a tough time and who needs someone to talk to in order to prevent a tragedy. The video gives out the suicide hotlines phone number.

“Cause I got so much that I wanna say to you
I used to shine, now I’m all in the dark
I remember I used to tell you to follow your heart
But goddamn it, look at you now, it’s all of your fault
How could you?
Maybe it’s my fault
I shoulda paid more attention to what you been doing”
