In his song, 1985, he talks about how some new rappers in this generation get caught up in the fame and attention they’re receiving, they don’t think ahead. They don’t realize that eventually the teens listening to them right now will eventually grow up and grow out of the phase they’re in. They (the teens) will get tired of listening to the same things they (the rappers) constantly rap about. Their money won’t grow as much as it used to, they’ll start struggling to make as much money. It may be nice for them now, but unless they’re special they won’t stay the center of attention for long. They’ll eventually be forgotten and they’ll no longer be able to depend on their music for money.
